23 March 2015 marks the end of an era. the legacy of this man by the name of Mr. Lee Kuan Yew. he is the founder and first prime minister of Singapore. without him singapore may not be what she is today. a successful first world country, a country i am proud to be a citizen of. the passing of Mr. Lee did not come as a surprise as he was already critically ill and was on life-support in the recent month. but what took me by surprise was the fact that i was almost unable to control my tears after seeing countless dedications to him on social media. it dawned upon to me that he had dedicated his entire life building what we call our homeland. a small yet significant country. how many of us will be this selfless? thank you for all that you've done for singapore, Mr. Lee, the country will continue to prosper under the good hands of your team and will not let your efforts go to waste. Rest in peace sir! A reunion with your loving wife. Goodbye.

24 March 2015 - results were out today and i've unofficially graduated from poly! results were a little disappointing this semester tho.... scored a B for internship and gpa didn't even budge. I was hoping to graduated with at least a 3.0 gpa but nope. 2.8 is all i've got. was feeling kinda down almost the entire day although i know that being able to graduate is priority and gpa is just a number, i just can't get over the fact that i've scored less than 3.0. I mean that was my personal goal and by scoring a B, i wasn't able to pull it up at all. Lisa scored an A and her gpa shot up from 2.8 to 3.0. I mean, how can a grade difference mean so much???? I can't deny the fact that I was a little envious because i know i have done my best. submitting weekly logs on time and etc yet all i got was the grade that was the lowest of all 4. i mean tong and i did score the same grade but then again like what i've said, i submitted everything in a timely manner. can't i get some brownie points for that? sigh..... or maybe i've worked hard but not smart. i'm sorta over this now since i knw deep down that employers only care about the certificate rather than the sucky numbers. anw, why let numbers define us? height, weight, money, gpa, and many more.

did a little reflection in life these few days and i guess i have kinda wasted my holiday just like this. i should start picking up some upgrading course be it learning a new language, yoga, or even just redecorating my room. made a goal today: to save up and refurbish my room by changing the furniture bit by bit and making it clean. mark me.
