Floors underneath our feet are crumbling

as you can see from the ss above, i got back my results! and yay to my first A hehe all i can say is that the two weekends i gave up work for studies in feb paid off! 160$ worth huhu. rly thankful for the results this sem. my first time scoring above D for my accounting and no i did not expect myself to get a B+; so close to an A. neither can i believe that i scored a B for blaw. so thankful i can cry...........

but at the same time due to my poor results in year 1, my cumulative gpa suck balls. tho an increase this sem, its still below 3. of course, a slow increase is still an increase! shared this good result with the mum and as usual, expected a praise but noooooo she did not! all she said was "you can do better" and "see, if you study, you can score well" heck no, these were not words i wanna hear. i wanna hear a "that's good!" from her. afterall, she still wants my gpa to be at least 3 and above. so that she can have 'face' - thats what i assume. however, am really thankful tht i have my dear friends who showered me with praises and 'well done(s)'. really really appreciate it and i thank them for understanding! :')

but on the brighter side, i got a 3.4 for the current sem! this parents thing will not bring me down. i will continue to do my best even if it means no A. i will!

on a side note, finally a meet up with the people i love during the holidays. (not all tho) planning for a meet up with cliques is one of the hardest. but hopefully am able to meet everyone before school starts agn!

people i met most during the holidays is definitely lisa and eunice. hehehe.

a real quick meet up with the bff cos she was at hg doing her hair! tsktsk, she was the last customer to leave at 10pm. met for a good 45 mins and home we go hehe.

proper meet up with the clique at sakura but it was oh-so-not-worth-it. idky but the service and food standard rly going down like timber. aish, idk is it just the yck branch or all the outlets. the salmon was such a disappointment!

kiseki with them so we three love salmon so muchhhhie and sakura's one sucks.

cos we both missed meow and we decided to copy her selfie patterns. hehe so much fun!

good news is i finally achieved the perfect instagram-able macarons!! boy how glad i was. my third attempt hehe but the oven was too small and i had to turnover 3 pans in order to churn out 72 shells (36 macs) the baking process took the longest. started at 4pm and it ended way late at 10pm. woah. but the thought of making it for the loved ones, its rly worth. esp seeing the way the fight for the macs. hahaha. a pity i don't have a bigger oven.

side note: have yet to get the temp right. it's either that the shells are brown and uncooked, or that the whole shell is charred. hmm..

made the macs cos it was meant as a gws gift for this girl mainly cos idk what to give and partly i was in a rly good mood due to results. passed it to her 2 days ltr and as usual, a meetup that meant 5 mins became 1/2 hour HAHAHA a catch up sesh needed. next week!

i'm missing these girls. hopefully the plan for mookata on 7th will come true hehehe.

and not to forget, got to meet this busy girl soon before sch starts. been neglecting our f/s for quite some time. but y'know, sometimes i wonder why am i only the one asking her out..
